Ages 10 and 11

  • Fun, Teamwork, and Competition is the focus for these 10 and 11 year olds. Our hope is that these U12’s are gathering family members and friends to play weekly backyard pick-up games, rather than sitting in their rooms playing their Nofriendo, Ex-Box, or their lackof-Play Station.

  • This group is for children who are 10 or 11 years old by July 31st.

  • Players may play in the Classic levels at this age. For details, please look over our 'Classic' section.

  • Fall season starts early September. Check our home page back for registration details.

The 10 and 11 year olds play in the Under 12 (U12) division. Teams are segregated by gender, have rosters of 12-14 players, and are often coached by a parent who has some professional soccer coaching education and previous soccer experience. Games are 8v8 with goalkeepers. In addition to playing other U12 teams within the Bryant Soccer Club at Midland Soccer Complex, U12's play against other teams within the Central Arkansas Soccer League (CASL).

Also, statewide tournaments are a big hit at this age. As a chance to prove their mettle against other teams in pool and playoff fashion, a couple tournaments per season are a favorite for many U12 players. The cost of these are set by the tournament officals, and in addition to the seasonal registration fee.

Each player will play at least 50% of each game they attend in the Recreational Level. If you find that this is not so with your child, let us know by using our 'Contact Us' page. In addition to games, each team practices twice per week, and also attends a weekly skills training with one of our professional trainers. See our 'Skills Training' section in the menu to the left.

Scheduling is done by the CASL (Central Arkansas Soccer League). Check back here in late August to find the Bryant Soccer U12 teams schedules.
